This week’s guest is India Parson, the founder of B.E.S.T. (Building Economic Stability Together). India and I met at Sip & Savor, 528 E. 43rd St., in Chicago. After witnessing her Father’s battle with mental illness and a drug addiction, India went on a journey to live her BEST life. India comes from a family of entrepreneurs so she chose to step out on Faith. Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe (Proverbs 28: 26) Without the security of friends or family on a bus headed to Chicago, India authored her book, Cry But Don’t Quit, 9 Steps for Living Your BEST Life, Now! B.E.S.T is a leadership organization in Chicago dedicated to economic empowerment and advocacy while serving and supporting leaders of all walks of life.
You can catch India interacting with her neighbors, walking, reading, or gathering other leaders to clean up the community. Listen as India shares how she has overcome many obstacles and chooses to embrace her inner Champ while living her BEST life.
